Any multiscale guitars would need specific hardware, the headstock had to be angled differently, the pickups needed to be custom built, and a whole bunch of other little bits and pieces. This is a serious Luthiers job and require a lot of time and professional skills.
Our DIY Kit comes with a Tele style guitar’s Multiscale neck, Compensated Stainless Steel bridge and mounting hardware. Simply unscrew old neck and bridge, replace them with new multiscale parts, screw back.

For a Tele style guitar, the Multiscale fretboard neck creates scale lengths for each individual string. MultiScale 26.5″ – 25.5″ Eastern European Hard Rock Maple Neck comes with Dual Truss rod system, easily accessed for adjustment and Double Titanium Reinforcement Rods.

TONE
That is what most people noticed straight away when playing a Multiscale. The tone! The increased tension improves tone. This is so much better than anything you ever tried. If you’ve ever put a larger set of strings on your guitar, you’ll notice a fatter tone. This is more due to the increase of the string tension, a longer scale length improves tone. On regular guitar the scale length may be right for one of the strings, but it’s typically not long enough for low, thick strings, nor short enough for high, thin ones. A multiscale design fixes that. Instead of lining up parallel, frets are fanned out at an angle, with angled nuts and bridges as well. This simultaneously makes bass scales longer and treble scales shorter, giving each string its own appropriate length.

TUNING
Multiscale is like a normal guitar. You tune it the same. Bends are as per normal. However, intonation is more accurate. The bass side strings do not stretch as much when you hit them with a pick, so you don’t get as much pitch increase in the initial attack of the note.
