The workshop

A boutique custom instrument builder in North Hollywood, California. Rather than mass-producing standard instruments, Woodcraft focuses on custom-crafted builds, innovative ergonomics, high-grade materials and distinct custom artistry.

We built the first guitar forty-five years ago. Everything since has been upgrades, changes and modifications, and it brought us to the range we build today.

  • 01 / SpecScale, string count, body wood, neck profile, finish, hardware. Left-handed builds are routine, not an exception.
  • 02 / WoodAlder and ash bodies, Eastern European hard rock maple necks. Exotic tonewood tops — flame maple, burl — where the build calls for one. One instrument in the catalogue is cut from 300-year-old oak.
  • 03 / NeckDual-action "Easy-Wheel" truss rod plus two titanium reinforcement rods. Adjustable on the spot without a wrench. TUSQ nut, cut by hand.
  • 04 / HardwareAlBridge parts throughout — duralumin and stainless bridges, pure bell bronze saddles, hard-tension springs, military-grade stainless retainers.
  • 05 / ElectronicsHand-wound dual-pole split coils with no sixty-cycle hum, CTS pots, disc filter capacitors, graphite-shielded cavities.
  • 06 / FinishNitrocellulose gloss, satin nitro, or a hand-relic. Hand-painted one-offs when someone asks for one.

Tina builds
them.

Woodcraft is a collaborative boutique workshop. Rather than focusing on single names or corporate titles, we focus on the craft — but the engine of the day-to-day is Tina, our master in-house luthier.

She oversees all bench work: final assembly, the intricate wiring, fret dressing, electronics and precision setups. Supported by a tight-knit network of design partners and veteran builders behind the curtain, Tina makes sure every build meets exact player specifications before it ever hits the stage.

It is a private workshop effort. Tina is the master hand at the bench.
